Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jesper Weyerich took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Blasiwald's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laslo Mach fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 4 minutes into the match, Blasiwald's goalkeeper Kurt Deuschle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carsten Schellheimer. When Cosmo Kellner came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Dynamo Dresden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmo Kellner couldn't finish the play. Carsten Schellheimer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mario Martinek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Weyerich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Martinek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Butz in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Carsten Schellheimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Dresden's supporters rose to their feet, but Carsten Schellheimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Deuschle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Jesper Weyerich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Martinek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cosmo Kellner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hansjörg Merk in the 34th minute of play forced Dynamo Dresden's goalkeeper Mario Martinek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosmo Kellner scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Deuschle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timo Butz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carsten Schellheimer struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kurt Deuschle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Dresden.

Cosmo Kellner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Deuschle having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Carsten Schellheimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Dresden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carsten Schellheimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Dynamo Dresden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Schellheimer to maneuver through the defense. Till Scharpenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Till Scharpenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blasiwald's Till Scharpenberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. Mario Martinek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hansjörg Merk in the 68th minute. Mario Martinek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Weyerich in the 70th minute of the match. Adonis Bernhauer's late challenge caught a Blasiwald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adonis Bernhauer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Dynamo Dresden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adonis Bernhauer to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Carsten Schellheimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Deuschle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmo Kellner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kurt Deuschle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cosmo Kellner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blasiwald's Kurt Deuschle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten Schellheimer in the 92nd minute of play.
