Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Köhn started the match with the kick off. Patrick Pahlke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Wilhelm Kronimus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Langenbaum FC's Patrick Pahlke got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in TSV Brunsbüttel's zone, Patrick Pahlke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Kronimus came out of the goal and Patrick Pahlke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Oswald Notthoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Köhn might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Piepenburg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Köhn ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, TSV Brunsbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Langhammer came free, but Wilhelm Kronimus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchior Krüger kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Timo Langhammer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Langenbaum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timo Langhammer couldn't finish the play. Wilhelm Kronimus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Pahlke in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, TSV Brunsbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Langhammer came free, but Wilhelm Kronimus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Patrick Pahlke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Brunsbüttel's Wilhelm Kronimus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo Langhammer in the 31st minute of play forced TSV Brunsbüttel's goalkeeper Wilhelm Kronimus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Langenbaum FC's Oswald Notthoff got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in TSV Brunsbüttel's zone, Heiko Schünemann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Kronimus came out of the goal and Heiko Schünemann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilhelm Kronimus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Langhammer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchior Krüger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Köhn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Piepenburg. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Wilhelm Kronimus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswald Notthoff in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Peter Köhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Piepenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Pahlke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Kronimus having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timo Langhammer made a kick off. Patrick Pahlke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Patrick Pahlke sped through TSV Brunsbüttel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilhelm Kronimus. Patrick Pahlke struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Wilhelm Kronimus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Langenbaum FC. With his leg Wilhelm Kronimus managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Langenbaum FC's Timo Langhammer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Langenbaum FC's Patrick Pahlke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilhelm Kronimus. That made the score 2-2 after 65 minutes of play. If Melchior Krüger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswald Notthoff hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Omar Piepenburg came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by TSV Brunsbüttel's Ralf Krabbe. But to his dismay, Ralf Krabbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Patrick Pahlke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timo Langhammer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Wilhelm Kronimus made a huge save. After 80 minutes, Oswald Notthoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Langenbaum FC and the TSV Brunsbüttel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Oswald Notthoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Timo Langhammer sped through TSV Brunsbüttel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilhelm Kronimus. In the 88th minute, Langenbaum FC's Oswald Notthoff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilhelm Kronimus. Wilhelm Kronimus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. TSV Brunsbüttel's Wilhelm Kronimus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save TSV Brunsbüttel from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswald Notthoff in the 93rd minute of play forced TSV Brunsbüttel's goalkeeper Wilhelm Kronimus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswald Notthoff in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Kronimus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Langenbaum FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TSV Brunsbüttel throughout the match.
