Ralf Krabbe took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amatus Ibrügger. Amatus Ibrügger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Kehr in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilhelm Kronimus saved TSV Brunsbüttel from getting behind. Chris Kehr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Kronimus having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, TSV Brunsbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Jaap Doll came free, but Wilhelm Kronimus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, TSV Brunsbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Färfers came free, but Wilhelm Kronimus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peer Kleszcz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Mike Juratovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wilhelm Kronimus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaap Doll went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jaap Doll sped through TSV Brunsbüttel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilhelm Kronimus. After a rather tough play, Hölzerne Klinke's Emre Niederkirchner got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Safet Rübel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amatus Ibrügger skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Benjamin Wagefeld tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amatus Ibrügger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute, Emre Niederkirchner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Markus Färfers scored 1-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilhelm Kronimus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaap Doll in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilhelm Kronimus saved TSV Brunsbüttel from getting behind. A collision led to TSV Brunsbüttel getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Benjamin Wagefeld hit a great ball. Hölzerne Klinke's Emre Niederkirchner got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TSV Brunsbüttel's Wilhelm Kronimus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save TSV Brunsbüttel from getting a goal against them. Hölzerne Klinke's Jaap Doll got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markus Färfers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilhelm Kronimus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Simon Metzger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to TSV Brunsbüttel getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Melchior Krüger hit a great ball. If Emre Niederkirchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaap Doll in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilhelm Kronimus saved TSV Brunsbüttel from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ludwig Müller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hölzerne Klinke's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Müller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Kronimus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hölzerne Klinke's Chris Kehr got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Jaap Doll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Kronimus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, TSV Brunsbüttel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Mitscher to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Kronimus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaap Doll, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Emre Niederkirchner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Kronimus having to interfere. Amatus Ibrügger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Köhn in the 95th minute of the match.
