Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ole Bierkamp got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Beckum FSV booed when TSV Brunsbüttel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Wagefeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Köhn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Takeshi Wojewski. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Ole Bierkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Wilhelm Kronimus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Jordan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takeshi Wojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Köhn in the 18th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, TSV Brunsbüttel's goal looked a bit too open when Ole Bierkamp came free, but Wilhelm Kronimus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TSV Brunsbüttel's Ralf Krabbe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as TSV Brunsbüttel's Peter Köhn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Takeshi Wojewski. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. Wilhelm Kronimus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Bierkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 50th match minute, Beckum FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Altmann to maneuver through the defense. TSV Brunsbüttel were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Beckum FSV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Safet Rübel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Safet Rübel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Takeshi Wojewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ralf Krabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole Bierkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Kronimus having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Safet Rübel during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Safet Rübel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Beckum FSV's Frank Trappmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TSV Brunsbüttel. After 71 played minutes TSV Brunsbüttel got a freekick which was hit by Melchior Krüger. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Köhn in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Takeshi Wojewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Köhn took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Takeshi Wojewski. Takeshi Wojewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Ralf Krabbe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takeshi Wojewski was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. TSV Brunsbüttel were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Beckum FSV for a fine match.
