Spectators: 7384 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Kastner in the 3rd minute of play forced Goldstein's goalkeeper Benedikt Biermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 1 FC LUPUS booed when Goldstein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Fischinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Kastner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Benedikt Biermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Goldstein's zone, Berthold Wieck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedikt Biermann came out of the goal and Berthold Wieck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Berthold Wieck came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the 1 FC LUPUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berthold Wieck couldn't finish the play. Berthold Wieck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikt Biermann having to interfere. If Noah Wilkendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedikt Biermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Kastner in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to 1 FC LUPUS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Matthias Höfer hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noah Wilkendorf in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Spanehl saved 1 FC LUPUS from getting behind. Luz Labouvie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Goldstein's zone, Berthold Wieck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedikt Biermann came out of the goal and Berthold Wieck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Fischinger during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Goldstein got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Fischinger. Berthold Wieck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikt Biermann having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Kastner was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Goldstein's goal looked a bit too open when Berthold Wieck came free, but Benedikt Biermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Dennis Kastner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedikt Biermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dennis Kastner came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the 1 FC LUPUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Kastner couldn't finish the play. Dennis Kastner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Kastner struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Benedikt Biermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1 FC LUPUS. 1 FC LUPUS's Berthold Wieck got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The 1 FC LUPUS manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Goldstein to win.
