Kai Rathje hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jan Kaack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noah Wilkendorf in the 21st minute of play. Steffen Rossmanith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Goldstein's goalkeeper Benedikt Biermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Rossmanith. Friedrich Schreier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikt Biermann having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Nankatsu got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Köpsel. Benedikt Biermann made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Steffen Rossmanith sent off a good shot on target. Laurent Köpsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedikt Biermann having to interfere. If Luz Labouvie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Harry Waldner charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Waldner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Goldstein getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Harry Waldner hit a great ball. Benedikt Biermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Rossmanith in the 53rd minute of play. Goldstein's Benedikt Biermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Schreier in the 59th minute of play. Luz Labouvie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Kaack having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Goldstein's Noah Wilkendorf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Kaack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Goldstein's Noah Wilkendorf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Kaack. Jan Kaack yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 69th match minute, Nankatsu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Michalowicz to maneuver through the defense. Luz Labouvie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Kaack firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bruno Mühlfenzl charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Mühlfenzl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Gustav Fischinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedikt Biermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedrich Schreier, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Benedikt Biermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedrich Schreier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Goldstein getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gero Rasche hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Nankatsu got a corner. Goldstein's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathieu Ansieg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Goldstein's goalie and right to Kai Michalowicz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Goldstein's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
