Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franz Wieberneit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 12 minutes, Donald Treiber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obersgegen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Treiber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franz Wieberneit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Treiber in the 20th minute of play. Jens Das fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Wieberneit having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match, Donald Treiber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franz Wieberneit saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 28 minutes into the match, Jens Das dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franz Wieberneit, 1-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Donald Treiber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Osnabrück's Franz Wieberneit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franz Wieberneit was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donald Treiber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Donald Treiber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Franz Wieberneit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donald Treiber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Franz Wieberneit made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, FC Osnabrück was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Hein to maneuver through the defense. FC Osnabrück's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Donald Treiber scored to the left of an out of position Franz Wieberneit, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donald Treiber was the one to do the kick off. Jens Das scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Wieberneit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Obersgegen booed when FC Osnabrück was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Hein didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Obersgegen's Donald Treiber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. FC Osnabrück's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
