Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) fc marcsterz united's Timo Neuber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rudolf Pyritz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timo Neuber went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Timo Neuber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Pyritz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Berens in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolf Pyritz saved FMC TEAM from getting behind. Timo Neuber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Pyritz having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, fc marcsterz united's goalkeeper Norbert Drehsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Weise. Georg Weise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rigobert Dörfler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Pyritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halldor Haye de la in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Rigobert Dörfler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FMC TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigobert Dörfler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, fc marcsterz united's Halldor Haye de la got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes, FMC TEAM's Michael Stächele shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norbert Drehsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FMC TEAM reached it. Frank Berens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rudolf Pyritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FMC TEAM's Richard Reimann got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Frank Berens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timo Neuber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rudolf Pyritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rigobert Dörfler made the kick off in the second half. Timo Neuber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Pyritz having to interfere. When Frank Berens came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the fc marcsterz united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Berens couldn't finish the play. In the 68th match minute, FMC TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Hespers to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Neuber in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Pyritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Austin Jakobeit charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Austin Jakobeit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of fc marcsterz united booed when FMC TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austin Jakobeit didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FMC TEAM getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Christopher Dickes hit a great ball. fc marcsterz united's attack was well implemented in the 84th minute, but when Timo Neuber was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Rudolf Pyritz came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by fc marcsterz united's Frank Berens. But to his dismay, Frank Berens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. fc marcsterz united's Timo Neuber got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timo Neuber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Drehsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigobert Dörfler went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FMC TEAM had won after a very even match.
