Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adrian Zylajew made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland König got free with Stephan Bürklen in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johann Wester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zlatko Bosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Johann Wester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zlatko Bosch. Köninck FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johann Wester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Zlatko Bosch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Wester, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Roland König managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köninck FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland König was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Köninck FSV's Zlatko Bosch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Wester in the 37th minute of play. Adrian Zylajew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Bürklen having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Köninck FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Wester came free, but Zlatko Bosch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johann Wester made a kick off. Swen Wolber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zlatko Bosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zlatko Bosch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Wester, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Zlatko Bosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Johann Wester recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zlatko Bosch. Johann Wester showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Roland König fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Bürklen having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Thiermann's goal looked a bit too open when Roland König came free, but Stephan Bürklen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Roland König ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephan Bürklen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Zlatko Bosch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johann Wester in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Adrian Zylajew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Swen Wolber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Köninck FSV got a freekick which was hit by Walther Alpermann. In the 78th minute, Kasper Bohne sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Köninck FSV's Zlatko Bosch didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland König in the 82nd minute of play forced Thiermann's goalkeeper Stephan Bürklen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Johann Wester took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Zlatko Bosch to make any attempt to save it. Swen Wolber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zlatko Bosch made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Swen Wolber sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Zylajew in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephan Bürklen saved Thiermann from getting behind. Adrian Zylajew struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Stephan Bürklen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Köninck FSV. Adrian Zylajew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Stephan Bürklen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Köninck FSV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Thiermann's performance. The match ended with a win for Thiermann.
