When Simon Hamberger fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mittersberg's protests and gave Simon Hamberger a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Hamberger kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Bäßler during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Thiermann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Bäßler to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boris Drachsner to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Benjamin Kilic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Bürklen. Thiermann's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Kilic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 63rdth minute of the game Johann Wester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mittersberg's Henrik Langbein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Helmut Nadel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Alessandro Hackert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mittersberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thiermann the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Mittersberg's Boris Drachsner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stephan Bürklen. That made the score 2-2 after 68 minutes of play. Johann Wester took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Langbein. Henrik Langbein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 76 played minutes Mittersberg got a freekick which was hit by Simon Hamberger. The supporters of Thiermann booed when Mittersberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Slesinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Mittersberg's goal looked a bit too open when Swen Wolber came free, but Henrik Langbein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mittersberg's Henrik Langbein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Swen Wolber in the 90th minute of play. Boris Drachsner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Stephan Bürklen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 100 minutes of play, Thiermann's Swen Wolber made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrik Langbein was left in no man's land by his defense there!
