Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) After a rather tough play, 1. Ŧ.ς คгค๓äєг ๒เєtเﻮђєเ๓'s Cliff Breitbach got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jannes Diederich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Wieberneit in the 8th minute. Jason Ohm's late challenge caught a 1. Ŧ.ς คгค๓äєг ๒เєtเﻮђєเ๓'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Ohm helped the player get up and apologised. Jason Ohm kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Felix Schlösser took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matti Hennig. Matti Hennig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of 1. Ŧ.ς คгค๓äєг ๒เєtเﻮђєเ๓ booed when TuS Bremen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Munz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matti Hennig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pim Rogatty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pim Rogatty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Schlösser in the 38th minute of play forced TuS Bremen's goalkeeper Matti Hennig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matti Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Schlösser in the 46th minute of play. 1. Ŧ.ς คгค๓äєг ๒เєtเﻮђєเ๓'s Pim Rogatty got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Wieberneit was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Paul Wieberneit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TuS Bremen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Wieberneit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, 1. Ŧ.ς คгค๓äєг ๒เєtเﻮђєเ๓'s Felix Schlösser ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matti Hennig. Matti Hennig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Paul Wieberneit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jannes Diederich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matti Hennig made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Pim Rogatty sent off a good shot on target. TuS Bremen's Matti Hennig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Schlösser in the 67th minute of play. Pim Rogatty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matti Hennig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Pim Rogatty managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. Ŧ.ς คгค๓äєг ๒เєtเﻮђєเ๓'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pim Rogatty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matti Hennig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Schlösser in the 72nd minute of play forced TuS Bremen's goalkeeper Matti Hennig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pim Rogatty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to TuS Bremen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Berti Henke hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Paul Wieberneit managed to get in a good position for a shot. TuS Bremen's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Wieberneit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 99th minute, one of TuS Bremen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TuS Bremen.
