Sammy Schultheiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Godelheim's zone, Sammy Schultheiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hansjürgen Höll came out of the goal and Sammy Schultheiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Wurm in the 27th minute of play forced FC Godelheim's goalkeeper Hansjürgen Höll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Bachem hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Torben Gellrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Valenti in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Robbie Nergert fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hansjürgen Höll, passed just outside the right post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ringo Händl made a kick off. In the 59th minute, SK Rapid Nord's Raik Kienast seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raik Kienast the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Rapid Nord protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raik Kienast had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 60 played minutes SK Rapid Nord got a freekick which was hit by Raik Kienast. Hansjürgen Höll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Schultheiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Karel Luft hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Christoph Wurm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjürgen Höll having to interfere. FC Godelheim's Hansjürgen Höll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Schultheiss in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Randy Valenti got free with Torben Gellrich in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hansjürgen Höll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Schultheiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansjürgen Höll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Wurm, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
