The audience thought a goal was coming when Murat Simon got free with Torben Gellrich in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoph Wurm struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Zinédine Vitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Rapid Nord. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Nergert in the 9th minute of play forced FC Holzmichel 04's goalkeeper Zinédine Vitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemens Clauren in the 21st minute of play forced SK Rapid Nord's goalkeeper Torben Gellrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murat Simon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Torben Gellrich made a huge save. Zinédine Vitz came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Rapid Nord's Sammy Schultheiss. But to his dismay, Sammy Schultheiss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 29 minutes of play, SK Rapid Nord's Robbie Nergert made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zinédine Vitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torben Gellrich was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Joachim Schwarzbäcker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joachim Schwarzbäcker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Torben Gellrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Schwarzbäcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Murat Simon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Torben Gellrich made a huge save. In the 51stth minute of the game Joachim Schwarzbäcker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Rapid Nord's Torben Gellrich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Sammy Schultheiss managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Rapid Nord's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Schultheiss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torben Gellrich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Holzmichel 04 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
