In the 41stth minute of the game Julius Fischer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig's Alfred Appelt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SERGIO 2014's goalkeeper Pim Radtke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfred Appelt made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Mathis Huthmann sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Fischer to strike the kick off in the second half. Pat Neubrandt's late challenge caught a FC SERGIO 2014's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
