The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Krughöfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bum-Kun Altvater, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Lamparsky got free with Frank Krughöfer in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bum-Kun Altvater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bum-Kun Altvater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Frank Krughöfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Krughöfer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bum-Kun Altvater's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Specht's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marc Lamparsky fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the last second Frank Krughöfer throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bum-Kun Altvater in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Eintracht Bremerhaven's Samuel Heibrink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Sänger in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Specht's Hippolyt Heintel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Heibrink was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eintracht Bremerhaven's Samuel Heibrink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hippolyt Heintel in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Specht booed when Eintracht Bremerhaven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Merker didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hippolyt Heintel in the 28th minute of play forced Eintracht Bremerhaven's goalkeeper Samuel Heibrink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anders Michael came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Eintracht Bremerhaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Michael couldn't finish the play. When Eintracht Bremerhaven's Bum-Kun Altvater in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Bum-Kun Altvater made the kick off in the second half. Michel Sänger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Samuel Heibrink made a huge save. Frank Krughöfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bum-Kun Altvater in the 53rd minute of play. Marc Lamparsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Krughöfer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Bum-Kun Altvater put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Krughöfer. Marc Lamparsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Frank Krughöfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hippolyt Heintel in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Heibrink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Krughöfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Lamparsky in the 71st minute of play. Samuel Heibrink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hippolyt Heintel in the 72nd minute of play. Samuel Heibrink didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Sänger went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 83 played minutes Specht got a freekick which was hit by Clark Ginsberg. 84 minutes into the game, Marc Lamparsky cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Frank Krughöfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Eintracht Bremerhaven's goalkeeper Samuel Heibrink had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Sänger. Hippolyt Heintel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Heibrink having to interfere. The Eintracht Bremerhaven supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Specht's performance. The match ended with a win for Specht.
