SpVg Eicha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Driftsethe FSV the free kick. After 20 played minutes SpVg Eicha got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Ginsberg. Leik Benninghoven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Will Zehle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Leif Brossart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SpVg Eicha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Brossart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valérien Husse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gretel Bruhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of SpVg Eicha booed when Driftsethe FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Stetter didn't get a good kick on the ball. SpVg Eicha's Will Zehle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save SpVg Eicha from getting a goal against them. When Forusan Kaemmer came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Driftsethe FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Forusan Kaemmer couldn't finish the play. After the first half SpVg Eicha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, SpVg Eicha's Marc-Dominic Neu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Driftsethe FSV's Forusan Kaemmer got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gretel Bruhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Driftsethe FSV got a freekick which was hit by Leik Benninghoven. After 68 played minutes Driftsethe FSV got a freekick which was hit by Josef Stetter. 70 minutes into the game, Torsten Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Driftsethe FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SpVg Eicha the free kick. In the 70th minute, Torsten Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leik Benninghoven charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leik Benninghoven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Laurenz Vandenhirtz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Driftsethe FSV's Valérien Husse didn't even have to move. Leif Brossart was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Gretel Bruhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st play minute Leif Brossart came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valérien Husse. 0-2. Driftsethe FSV's Forusan Kaemmer got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Driftsethe FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SpVg Eicha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
