Francesco Raab was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Bernd Lockfisch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernd Lockfisch really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 9th minute Arend Ulbricht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Raab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Heinrich Faber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francesco Raab, 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Bernd Lockfisch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Francesco Raab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luka Jagenburg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakob Bleibtreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Erhard Liebherr kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Francesco Raab made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Vlado Heeringa sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Heinrich Faber recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francesco Raab. Heinrich Faber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. 37 minutes into the match, VFL Pudding's goal looked a bit too open when Arend Ulbricht came free, but Francesco Raab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hersfelder Jungs booed when VFL Pudding was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilja Sehrt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vlado Heeringa got free with Francesco Raab in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luka Jagenburg was the one to do the kick off. If Luka Jagenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Arend Ulbricht notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of VFL Pudding's Francesco Raab. Francesco Raab was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the game, Günter Betz threw the ball into play from the sideline. VFL Pudding's Erhard Liebherr quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 62 minutes into the match, Heinrich Faber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Raab. VFL Pudding's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heinrich Faber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 66 minutes, Kai Dotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VFL Pudding and the Hersfelder Jungs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Kai Dotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlado Heeringa scored 8-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Raab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francesco Raab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heinrich Faber in the 73rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Tanne during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, VFL Pudding's Tobias Tanne got a free kick in the 74th minute. During the 78th minute of the match Erhard Liebherr completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Erhard Liebherr a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Erhard Liebherr hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Luka Jagenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Günter Betz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Francesco Raab came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Hersfelder Jungs's Heinrich Faber. But to his dismay, Heinrich Faber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Hersfelder Jungs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
