In the 17th match minute, Obergeislbach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhold Wacker to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keanu Wigenbusch in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Dreseler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manuel Faenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Obergeislbach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Othmar Biedma to maneuver through the defense. Jan Dreibus hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Manuel Faenger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Mario Dreseler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 39 played minutes Obergeislbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Wacker. Gerhart Obser took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Swen Rocker. Swen Rocker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keanu Wigenbusch was the one to do the kick off. Mario Dreseler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Faenger, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Obergeislbach FC defense, Manuel Faenger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Dreseler. The Obergeislbach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Dreseler should have stopped the shot. Matthias Wies took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Swen Rocker. Swen Rocker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 67 played minutes Obergeislbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Lars Hornberger. Bernhard Köller hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Manuel Faenger notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Obergeislbach FC's Mario Dreseler. Mario Dreseler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 played minutes Tus Mützenich got a freekick which was hit by Jan Dreibus. Hernan Rothstein's late challenge caught a Obergeislbach FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Rothstein helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tus Mützenich's Hernan Rothstein got a free kick in the 79th minute. Swen Rocker made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Matthias Wies sent off a good shot on target. Obergeislbach FC's Mario Dreseler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keanu Wigenbusch in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Bernhard Köller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Swen Rocker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerhart Obser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Matthias Wies in the 94thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Swen Rocker had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Matthias Wies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Swen Rocker having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
