Bum-Kun Altvater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Will Zehle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marc Lamparsky came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Eintracht Bremerhaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Lamparsky couldn't finish the play. Bum-Kun Altvater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marc Lamparskys short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Will Zehle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Eintracht Bremerhaven's Bum-Kun Altvater in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Will Zehle was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SpVg Eicha through an amazing save. In the 24th minute Bum-Kun Altvater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Zehle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gretel Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. SpVg Eicha's supporters rose to their feet, but Gretel Bruhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Heibrink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Will Zehle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Lamparsky in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Bum-Kun Altvater recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Will Zehle. Bum-Kun Altvater showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Laurenz Vandenhirtz fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SpVg Eicha's protests and gave Laurenz Vandenhirtz a yellow card for diving instead. Laurenz Vandenhirtz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes in the game, Bum-Kun Altvater fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Will Zehle having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bum-Kun Altvater in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Zehle saved SpVg Eicha from getting behind. Anders Michael hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SpVg Eicha! Will Zehle went to the wrong direction when Joachim Krögers was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bum-Kun Altvater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Marc Lamparsky made a precise shot to the right of Will Zehle. SpVg Eicha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Will Zehle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Lamparsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Leif Brossart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 72nd minute, Bum-Kun Altvater got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 74 minutes, Anders Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eintracht Bremerhaven and the SpVg Eicha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Bremerhaven's Roger Merker got a free kick in the 81st minute. Bum-Kun Altvater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominik Ginsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, SpVg Eicha's goal looked a bit too open when Bum-Kun Altvater came free, but Will Zehle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Lamparsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Will Zehle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Bum-Kun Altvater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Zehle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Zehle having to interfere. SpVg Eicha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
