The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arend Ulbricht during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vlado Heeringa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hersfelder Jungs's Arend Ulbricht got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Hersfelder Jungs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Uwe Schuldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vlado Heeringa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heinrich Faber was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Heinrich Faber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hersfelder Jungs's supporters rose to their feet, but Heinrich Faber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valérien Husse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vlado Heeringa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. After 97 minutes of play, Hersfelder Jungs's Heinrich Faber made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valérien Husse was left in no man's land by his defense there!
