In the 20th minute, Forusan Kaemmer made a precise shot to the right of Haimo Wild. Geltow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Driftsethe FSV's zone, Ingmar Tengstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valérien Husse came out of the goal and Ingmar Tengstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valérien Husse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Tengstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Forusan Kaemmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ingmar Tengstedt came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Geltow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingmar Tengstedt couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes Driftsethe FSV got a freekick which was hit by Gero Sikora. The Geltow players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Driftsethe FSV were winning 0-2.

Valérien Husse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingmar Tengstedt in the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Driftsethe FSV defense, Ingmar Tengstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valérien Husse. The Driftsethe FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valérien Husse should have stopped the shot. Ingmar Tengstedt struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Valérien Husse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geltow. 80 minutes into the match, Ingmar Tengstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valérien Husse. Driftsethe FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingmar Tengstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 95 minutes into the match, Ingmar Tengstedt notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Driftsethe FSV's Valérien Husse. Valérien Husse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geltow's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
