VFL Pudding's Francesco Raab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save VFL Pudding from getting a goal against them. 4 minutes into the match, VFL Pudding's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Espe came free, but Francesco Raab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VFL Pudding's Francesco Raab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Gleicke in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Uli Kiesel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Raab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konrad Hitzing hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Steffen Hollstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Francesco Raab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erhard Liebherr kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, VFL Pudding's goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Gleicke came free, but Francesco Raab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Tanne hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Hippolyt Heintel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francesco Raab. The goal made the score 1-0. Ilja Sehrt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hippolyt Heintel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Francesco Raab made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, VFL Pudding's goal looked a bit too open when Uli Kiesel came free, but Francesco Raab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Espe scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Raab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, VFL Pudding's Francesco Raab got control of the ball when Uli Kiesel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Julius Espe might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francesco Raab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julius Espe ran back to his position shaking his head. Francesco Raab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Espe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Specht players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
