Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudolf Treusch kicked off to start the match. Hellengerst FSV's Eckhard Billmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Schuldt in the 6th minute of play. Rudolf Treusch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valérien Husse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Weinmann went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paul Weinmann scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valérien Husse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes, Rudolf Treusch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hellengerst FSV and the Driftsethe FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Driftsethe FSV booed when Hellengerst FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Treusch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Treusch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Weinmann got free with Valérien Husse in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Driftsethe FSV's Josef Stetter got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Rudolf Treusch came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Hellengerst FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Treusch couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Treusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Husse having to interfere. Valérien Husse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Treusch, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Paul Weinmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Weinmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Husse having to interfere. The supporters of Driftsethe FSV booed when Hellengerst FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Kriwat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gero Sikora took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eckhard Billmann. Hellengerst FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 54th minute Paul Weinmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Husse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Rudolf Treusch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellengerst FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Treusch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eckhard Billmann acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kai Stapelfeldt. Uwe Schuldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Eckhard Billmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valérien Husse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Weinmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jochen Stübgen charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jochen Stübgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jochen Stübgen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Paul Weinmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellengerst FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Weinmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valérien Husse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Driftsethe FSV's Jochen Hufenstuhl got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Hellengerst FSV were awarded a corner. Ronald Holldorf went to the cornerflag to take it. Paul Weinmann took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valérien Husse. Valérien Husse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eckhard Billmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forusan Kaemmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Driftsethe FSV's Valérien Husse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Treusch in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Hellengerst FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
