Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keanu Wigenbusch made a kick off. After 59 minutes, Jan Dreibus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tus Mützenich and the Hersfelder Jungs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Dreibus hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hersfelder Jungs's Elard Asmus tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jakob Bleibtreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Faenger went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Keanu Wigenbusch struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jakob Bleibtreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tus Mützenich. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinrich Faber in the 73rd minute of play forced Tus Mützenich's goalkeeper Swen Rocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jakob Bleibtreu managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Tus Mützenich's Manuel Faenger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 76 played minutes Tus Mützenich got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Kofler. If Manuel Faenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes in the game, Keanu Wigenbusch fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jakob Bleibtreu having to interfere. Keanu Wigenbusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jakob Bleibtreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tus Mützenich booed when Hersfelder Jungs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Lockfisch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tus Mützenich's Keith Stockburger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hersfelder Jungs. Vlado Heeringa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Swen Rocker having to interfere. Tus Mützenich's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
