Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Dieter Benedix successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 31 minutes into the game, Ignaz Zabe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wallbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV 1860 München the free kick. Ignaz Zabe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arthur Link made a kick off. Arthur Link received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dieter Benedix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arthur Link had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Link in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dieter Benedix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Serge Kubat managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSV 1860 München's supporters rose to their feet, but Serge Kubat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieter Benedix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TSV 1860 München made a substitution. Fidelio Kleist replaced Arthur Link. After 74 played minutes Wallbach got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Reents. Ole Kühn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dieter Benedix having to make a save. Dieter Benedix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidelio Kleist's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Matthias Barnick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Benedix having to interfere. TSV 1860 München were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Wallbach to leave the ground with a draw.
