Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Braunsfeld FSV's Pascal Gerlach started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes gutgut got a freekick which was hit by Karel Funke. 5 minutes into the game, Karel Funke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. gutgut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Braunsfeld FSV the free kick. Heiko Reents fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Pleve having to interfere. Jacob Pleve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Gerlach in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Wulf Meisler made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Pleve. gutgut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. André Demel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sjard Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Armando Barkhausen got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Demel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in gutgut's zone, Kurt Haslbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Pleve came out of the goal and Kurt Haslbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Pascal Gerlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Pleve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Braunsfeld FSV's Heiko Reents made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Pleve was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heiko Reents recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in gutgut's zone, Pascal Gerlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Pleve came out of the goal and Pascal Gerlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sjard Kruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascal Gerlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Braunsfeld FSV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sjard Kruse made a kick off. Kurt Haslbeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jacob Pleve made a huge save. Heiko Reents blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Pleve having to make a save. Pascal Gerlach struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jacob Pleve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braunsfeld FSV. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heiko Reents got free with Jacob Pleve in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Braunsfeld FSV's Pascal Gerlach slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacob Pleve. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. gutgut's Jacob Pleve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Gerlach in the 69th minute of play. Heiko Reents sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sjard Kruse in the 78th minute of play forced Braunsfeld FSV's goalkeeper André Demel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Pascal Gerlach recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacob Pleve. Pascal Gerlach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Pascal Gerlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Pleve having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Braunsfeld FSV's Heiko Reents dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Pascal Gerlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Pleve having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Sjard Kruse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braunsfeld FSV's André Demel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
