Erhard Besemann charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erhard Besemann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erhard Besemann kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Erhard Besemann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hartmut Hutter. Fontes Baderae's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erhard Besemann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hans Merkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Herbert Anbacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Matthias Stockhausen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hartmut Hutter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hans Merkel scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hartmut Hutter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Fontes Baderae booed when Mühlen III was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Gaßner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hans Merkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Fontes Baderae's goal looked a bit too open when Erhard Besemann came free, but Hartmut Hutter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hartmut Hutter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Merkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Fontes Baderae's goal looked a bit too open when Erhard Besemann came free, but Hartmut Hutter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hans Merkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Cestonaro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mühlen III booed when Fontes Baderae was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Schardt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Peter Schardt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantin Peitsch was the one to do the kick off. Hartmut Hutter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erhard Besemann in the 54th minute. When Erhard Besemann came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mühlen III fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erhard Besemann couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Schießl during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Anders Schießl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Constantin Peitsch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontes Baderae's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Peitsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fontes Baderae's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Hans Merkel scored to the left of an out of position Hartmut Hutter, making the score, 0-3. Jann Lang came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Fontes Baderae's Constantin Peitsch. But to his dismay, Constantin Peitsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Hans Merkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hartmut Hutter having to interfere. Peter Schardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Erhard Besemann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Hans Merkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartmut Hutter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mühlen III eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
