Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Volker Koziolek started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Braunsfeld FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ignaz Zabe came free, but André Demel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wallbach's Dieter Benedix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Wallbach from getting a goal against them. Pascal Gerlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Benedix having to interfere. Heiko Reentss short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Dieter Benedix to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Heiko Reents received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dieter Benedix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dieter Benedix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Gerlach in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Braunsfeld FSV's zone, Ignaz Zabe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Demel came out of the goal and Ignaz Zabe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Aziz Eilers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dieter Benedix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascal Gerlach in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dieter Benedix saved Wallbach from getting behind. If Ignaz Zabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Demel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volker Koziolek in the 37th minute of the match. Jan Berndt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. André Demel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascal Gerlach to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Pascal Gerlach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ignaz Zabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Demel was a little too slow when Volker Koziolek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 72nd minute of the match Wallbach got a corner. Braunsfeld FSV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Teupel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Wallbach's corner Florian Teupel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Demel quite easily take care of the ball. Braunsfeld FSV's André Demel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volker Koziolek in the 73rd minute of play. Heiko Reents's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dieter Benedix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Pascal Gerlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Benedix having to interfere. If Volker Koziolek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wallbach's Ignaz Zabe got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 89 in the game by Ignaz Zabe from a close distance when the talented André Demel managed to make a qualified save. Braunsfeld FSV's players were relieved. In the 90th minute, Volker Koziolek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Heiko Reents had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Braunsfeld FSV's Pascal Gerlach in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wallbach's goalie prevented a goal. After 94 minutes, Lars Szangolies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wallbach and the Braunsfeld FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wallbach's Lars Szangolies got a free kick in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wallbach walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
