Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SV Roge's Jannes Zebrowski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pio Franiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignaz Zabe in the 3rd minute. Janko Latocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Janko Latocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieter Benedix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes, Jan Berndt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wallbach and the SV Roge players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SV Roge booed when Wallbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Berndt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jannes Zebrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dieter Benedix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SV Roge's zone, Ignaz Zabe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pio Franiel came out of the goal and Ignaz Zabe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jannes Zebrowski struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dieter Benedix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Roge. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Volker Koziolek in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pio Franiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Janko Latocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match Florian Teupel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pio Franiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lutz Dresdner's late challenge caught a Wallbach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lutz Dresdner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wallbach booed when SV Roge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lutz Dresdner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Wallbach's goal looked a bit too open when Rappo Tetzlaff came free, but Dieter Benedix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volker Koziolek was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Olaf Hassenrück hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignaz Zabe struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pio Franiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallbach. Dieter Benedix was a little too slow when Tihomir Ries-Müller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. Jannes Zebrowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Benedix having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Janko Latocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Roge's supporters rose to their feet, but Janko Latocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieter Benedix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jannes Zebrowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dieter Benedix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, SV Roge's Janko Latocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dieter Benedix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Volker Koziolek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Volker Koziolek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pio Franiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dieter Benedix made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Janko Latocha sent off a good shot on target. Jan Berndt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Jannes Zebrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Roge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jannes Zebrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dieter Benedix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jannes Zebrowski in the 73rd minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Olaf Hassenrück shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dieter Benedix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ignaz Zabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, SV Roge's goal looked a bit too open when Volker Koziolek came free, but Pio Franiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SV Roge getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lutz Dresdner hit a great ball. When Wallbach's Volker Koziolek in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Roge's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Roge's Janko Latocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dieter Benedix. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. Janko Latocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieter Benedix having to interfere. The SV Roge players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
