Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SV 28 Wissingen's Kamil Härle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Braunsfeld FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Kamil Härle came free, but André Demel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Wrede scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Demel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Kurt Haslbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SV 28 Wissingen's Jeremy Hofmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Braunsfeld FSV. After having played for 24 minutes, Heiko Reents managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braunsfeld FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heiko Reents was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heiko Reents's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Fredrik Polskis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 30th play minutes Pascal Gerlach shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Fredrik Polskis and just under the crossbar into goal. Wulf Meisler kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV 28 Wissingen's goalkeeper Fredrik Polskis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heiko Reents fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Polskis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Gerlach in the 40th minute of play forced SV 28 Wissingen's goalkeeper Fredrik Polskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Pascal Gerlach made the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Polskis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Reents, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Rampe during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes SV 28 Wissingen got a freekick which was hit by Tom Rampe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Gerlach in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Polskis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes SV 28 Wissingen got a freekick which was hit by Tom Rampe. Fredrik Polskis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heiko Reents's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Julian Wrede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Demel having to interfere. If Pascal Gerlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Willi Orf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV 28 Wissingen and the Braunsfeld FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Willi Orf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Pascal Gerlach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braunsfeld FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Gerlach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Polskis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heiko Reents recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Rampe kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dennis Burch, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 82nd minute Pascal Gerlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Polskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Willi Orf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pascal Gerlach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Krotz's late challenge caught a SV 28 Wissingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rio Krotz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SV 28 Wissingen booed when Braunsfeld FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Krotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
