After having played for 12 minutes, Pascal Gerlach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braunsfeld FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Gerlach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Fontes Baderae got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Anbacher. In the 21st minute Braunsfeld FSV were awarded a corner. Dennis Burch went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dennis Burch almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fontes Baderae's Hartmut Hutter did a great save. 24 minutes into the game, Pascal Gerlach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hartmut Hutter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Pascal Gerlach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hartmut Hutter. Fontes Baderae's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Gerlach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aziz Eilers kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Constantin Peitsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Gerlach in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hartmut Hutter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heiko Reents took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hartmut Hutter. Hartmut Hutter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Hartmut Hutter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heiko Reents went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Fontes Baderae booed when Braunsfeld FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Eilers didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Demel came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Fontes Baderae's Constantin Peitsch. But to his dismay, Constantin Peitsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Constantin Peitsch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Demel having to make a save. Heiko Reents sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascal Gerlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Heiko Reents had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hartmut Hutter. Fontes Baderae's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heiko Reents was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. When Braunsfeld FSV's Pascal Gerlach in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. André Demel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontes Baderae. Wulf Meisler kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Braunsfeld FSV's Pascal Gerlach in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hartmut Hutter guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Braunsfeld FSV walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
