Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rudolf Schott kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, Rudolf Schott ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristan Eplinius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 13 played minutes 1.FC Mehlesdorf got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Schott. Reinhold Höhne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Wedig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Hanno Dautzenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Michael Jakowitz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Laurence Besken kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Benny Wedig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Janotta in the 31st minute of the match. Benny Wedig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Hambückers in the 33rd minute of play. Rudolf Schott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Samir Janotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Wedig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samir Janotta struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Benny Wedig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laake. In the 47th minute, Lazarus Kraft made a precise shot to the right of Benny Wedig. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto Haug to make the kick off. Benny Wedig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhard Hambückers in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Laake getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hanno Dautzenberg hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Mirko Scholz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laake the free kick. In the 57th minute, Mirko Scholz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samir Janotta got free with Benny Wedig in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Sergio Dümpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Dümpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Eplinius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irmin Lechtenberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Benny Wedig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Haug in the 76th minute of play. Otto Haug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Hambückers came free, but Benny Wedig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Benny Wedig got control of the ball when Samir Janotta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benny Wedig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Haug in the 91st minute of play. 3-2 became the score in the 93rd minute when Rudolf Schott elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 1.FC Mehlesdorf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laake had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
