Sepp Holthausen came out of the goal and Edmund Morawitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FSC Brakel 99 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Enriko Schroers hit a great ball. Tihomir Reinhardt made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Lennert Löbe sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, FSC Brakel 99's Edmund Morawitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. FSC Brakel 99's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hagen Liebherr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
