The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sam Splitgerber kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Lazarus Kraft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laake and the Weidenhausen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lazarus Kraft hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Egmund Schuhmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Eplinius having to interfere. When Reinhard Hambückers came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Laake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinhard Hambückers couldn't finish the play. Tristan Eplinius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egmund Schuhmacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lazarus Kraft kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Otto Haug who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Weidenhausen's Rick Weninger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Laake booed when Weidenhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Splitgerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rick Weninger was a little too slow when Otto Haug got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rick Weninger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhard Hambückers, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otto Haug in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rick Weninger saved Weidenhausen from getting behind. Rick Weninger came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Laake's Otto Haug. But to his dismay, Otto Haug quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Laake's Otto Haug in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weidenhausen's goalie prevented a goal. Ullrich Zahn hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Laake's Otto Haug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rick Weninger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Otto Haug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Weninger having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Samir Janotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laake's supporters rose to their feet, but Samir Janotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rick Weninger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egmund Schuhmacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Feller kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Samir Janotta came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Laake fans jumped to their feet. The Weidenhausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rick Weninger should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Laake players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
