Andi Heiske started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Weidenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Andi Heiske came free, but Rick Weninger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Limperich fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Limperich's Monty Börnsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rick Weninger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andi Heiske in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Gerrit Bruns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weidenhausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limperich the free kick. 14 minutes into the game, one of Weidenhausen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Börnsen in the 18th minute of play forced Weidenhausen's goalkeeper Rick Weninger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Limperich's goal looked a bit too open when Ullrich Zahn came free, but Sepp Holthausen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Weidenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Börnsen came free, but Rick Weninger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Monty Börnsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ullrich Zahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Andi Heiske shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Weninger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andi Heiske came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Limperich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andi Heiske couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Monty Börnsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Weninger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Weidenhausen's Sam Splitgerber got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ullrich Zahn made a kick off. Monty Börnsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Weninger having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Limperich's Enno Bradel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rick Weninger. Ullrich Zahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sepp Holthausen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepp Holthausen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egmund Schuhmacher in the 71st minute of play. Lennert Löbe struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rick Weninger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limperich. 76 minutes into the match, Monty Börnsen notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Weidenhausen's Rick Weninger. Rick Weninger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sievert Tremmel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes in the game Enno Bradel after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Rick Weninger. A very good opportunity. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andi Heiske in the 89th minute of play forced Weidenhausen's goalkeeper Rick Weninger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rick Weninger was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Andi Heiske capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andi Heiske really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 99th minute, Ben Kremmers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerrit Bruns was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 100th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Limperich left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Weidenhausen.
