Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hubertus Pickartz started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Rudolf Schott notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Paradieso's Claas Kleszcz. Claas Kleszcz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mo Vielhaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Benny Wedig made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's goalkeeper Benny Wedig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klaas Debus. Mo Vielhaus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 10th playminute. 18 minutes into the game, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Rudolf Schott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claas Kleszcz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to 1.FC Mehlesdorf getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kornelius Wester hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burkhard Bauer in the 30th minute of play forced 1.FC Mehlesdorf's goalkeeper Benny Wedig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benny Wedig was a little too slow when Burkhard Bauer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Feddo Meisel hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mirko Scholz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claas Kleszcz having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, FC Paradieso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Borchert to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Schott to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wolfgang Fink during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Wolfgang Fink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sergio Dümpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hubertus Pickartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kornelius Wester hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Mirko Scholz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claas Kleszcz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in FC Paradieso's zone, Rudolf Schott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claas Kleszcz came out of the goal and Rudolf Schott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolf Schott might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claas Kleszcz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Schott ran back to his position shaking his head. Kornelius Wester's late challenge caught a FC Paradieso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kornelius Wester helped the player get up and apologised. Kornelius Wester hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Thorsten Reisner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Claas Kleszcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lex Wittenbeck's late challenge caught a 1.FC Mehlesdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lex Wittenbeck helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the game, one of FC Paradieso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hasso Gölz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, FC Paradieso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burkhard Bauer to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Schott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Claas Kleszcz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 98 minutes into the game, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Rudolf Schott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claas Kleszcz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
