The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahid Stickel got free with Sepp Holthausen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Limperich could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TSV 1893 Leipzig-Wahren throughout the match.
