Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Derek Reis got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Rüdiger Bruns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steinhaus FSV and the Weidenhausen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Weidenhausen booed when Steinhaus FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüdiger Bruns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerrit Bruns took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frederik Paul. Steinhaus FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Steinhaus FSV's Frederik Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ullrich Zahn in the 5th minute of play. Egmund Schuhmacher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Frederik Paul made a huge save. Gerrit Bruns charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerrit Bruns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Weidenhausen's Gerrit Bruns got a free kick in the 17th minute. Frederik Paul came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Weidenhausen's Egmund Schuhmacher. But to his dismay, Egmund Schuhmacher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Egmund Schuhmacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weidenhausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egmund Schuhmacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes Steinhaus FSV got a freekick which was hit by Siegmund Odenwälder. In the 29th minute of the match Gerrit Bruns shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederik Paul showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peter Gilles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Steinhaus FSV's Frederik Paul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Steinhaus FSV from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Derek Reis made a precise shot to the right of Rick Weninger. Weidenhausen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rüdiger Bruns kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Weidenhausen defense, Derek Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rick Weninger. The Weidenhausen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rick Weninger should have stopped the shot. Egmund Schuhmacher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederik Paul having to make a save.

The wind increased when Ullrich Zahn made the kick off in the second half. Ullrich Zahn succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, Dietrich Wittlich notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Weidenhausen's Rick Weninger. Rick Weninger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dietrich Wittlich struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rick Weninger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steinhaus FSV. A collision led to Weidenhausen getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lukas Feller hit a great ball. If Dietrich Wittlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egmund Schuhmacher struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Frederik Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weidenhausen. Weidenhausen's Rick Weninger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Reis in the 82nd minute of play. Egmund Schuhmacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Steinhaus FSV's zone, Egmund Schuhmacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederik Paul came out of the goal and Egmund Schuhmacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederik Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egmund Schuhmacher in the 98th minute of play. The Weidenhausen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Steinhaus FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Steinhaus FSV.
