After a rather tough play, FSC Brakel 99's Kurt Lamers got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Hagen Liebherr came free, but Benny Wedig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, 1.FC Mehlesdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasso Gölz to maneuver through the defense. Tihomir Reinhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasso Gölz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny Wedig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hagen Liebherr in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Krupp got free with Benny Wedig in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benny Wedig was a little too slow when Enriko Schroers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Benny Wedig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hagen Liebherr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny Wedig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enriko Schroers in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, 1.FC Mehlesdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Rottstaedt to maneuver through the defense. Benny Wedig was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Hagen Liebherr capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hagen Liebherr really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Hagen Liebherr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enriko Schroers's late challenge caught a 1.FC Mehlesdorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enriko Schroers helped the player get up and apologised. Enriko Schroers hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolf Schott made a kick off. Hagen Liebherr hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Markus Krupp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Wedig having to interfere. Benny Wedig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Krupp in the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sergio Dümpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Dümpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tihomir Reinhardt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Edmund Morawitz made a precise shot to the right of Benny Wedig. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hagen Liebherr in the 82nd minute of play forced 1.FC Mehlesdorf's goalkeeper Benny Wedig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Morawitz scored 6-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benny Wedig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FSC Brakel 99's Tihomir Reinhardt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FSC Brakel 99 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to 1.FC Mehlesdorf getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Adrian Rottstaedt hit a great ball. Benny Wedig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Morawitz in the 97th minute of play. FSC Brakel 99 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
