Rudolf Schott started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Tobias Stamm threw the ball into play from the sideline. 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Adrian Rottstaedt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rudolf Schott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rudolf Schott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rick Weninger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Tobias Stamm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Weidenhausen getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hubertus Schui hit a great ball. The supporters of Weidenhausen booed when 1.FC Mehlesdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Rottstaedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny Wedig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Feller in the 35th minute of play. Hasso Gölz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Weninger having to interfere. Rudolf Schott was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Mirko Scholz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thorsten Reisner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Rudolf Schott notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Weidenhausen's Rick Weninger. Rick Weninger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mirko Scholz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 88th match minute, 1.FC Mehlesdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Scholz to maneuver through the defense. Benny Wedig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ullrich Zahn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 91 minute of play. Benny Wedig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ullrich Zahn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny Wedig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Feller in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
