In the 27th minute, Laake's Reinhard Hambückers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A long shot from Reinhold Höhne in the 33rd minute of play was well struck, but Claas Kleszcz made a really good save at the right post. If Otto Haug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samir Janotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claas Kleszcz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Hubertus Pickartz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Eplinius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes in the game, Otto Haug dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Claas Kleszcz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Haug's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hubertus Pickartz managed to get in a good position for a shot.
