Hermann Poß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Graciano Tabori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hermann Poß came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Höne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermann Poß couldn't finish the play. Graciano Tabori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Poß, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Hermann Poß's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Graciano Tabori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Höne got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Eberl. In the 22ndth minute of the game Arthur Bister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höne's Matthäus Wiesenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Höne's Ralph Duin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Graciano Tabori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerrit Herbel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Matthäus Wiesenberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Arthur Bister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marienau's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Bister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthäus Wiesenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralph Duin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Graciano Tabori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Höne's Thierry Eberl got a free kick in the 48th minute. Marienau's Arthur Bister got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ralph Duin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graciano Tabori having to interfere. Ralph Duin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Graciano Tabori made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Hermann Poß got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermann Poß received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Graciano Tabori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Schaf was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Höne fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Höne's Hermann Poß looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marienau's Graciano Tabori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Poß in the 80th minute of play. When Hermann Poß came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Höne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermann Poß couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Benedetto Heimann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Höne's Hermann Poß slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Graciano Tabori. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann Poß in the 97th minute of play forced Marienau's goalkeeper Graciano Tabori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Höne's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
