An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Eberl in the 10th minute of play forced Fc Liverpool's goalkeeper Jack Mühlenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Rexhaus's late challenge caught a Höne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert Rexhaus helped the player get up and apologised. Hubert Rexhaus hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Höne's Hermann Poß sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Mühlenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jack Mühlenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Eberl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lajos Klöser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Liverpool's Jack Mühlenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Eberl in the 21st minute of play. Götz Mostert hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann Poß in the 28th minute of play forced Fc Liverpool's goalkeeper Jack Mühlenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Höne's Matthäus Wiesenberg got control of the ball when Simon Kalb tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Höne booed when Fc Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlo Altmüller didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Thierry Eberl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Mühlenberg made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ralph Duin sent off a good shot on target. Ralph Duin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Mühlenberg having to interfere. Erasmus Kilian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Mühlenberg having to make a save. Arlo Altmüller hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Höne's Thierry Eberl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jack Mühlenberg. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann Poß in the 69th minute of play forced Fc Liverpool's goalkeeper Jack Mühlenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Fc Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Trimpin. Ralph Duin took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Mühlenberg. Jack Mühlenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 80th minute Erasmus Kilian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Mühlenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Liverpool's Jack Mühlenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmus Kilian in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralph Duin got free with Jack Mühlenberg in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthäus Wiesenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Kalb in the 94th minute of the match. Höne played a much better game than Fc Liverpool and deserved their victory. The Fc Liverpool players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
