Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arthur Bister made the kick off which started today's match. Michael Bährchen might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Graciano Tabori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Bährchen ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Bister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eckard Tilk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benedetto Heimann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Auermühle's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Bister came free, but Eckard Tilk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Marienau booed when Auermühle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfram Benken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Samon Hobner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, one of Marienau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marienau. The referee gave Auermühle a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bengt Utzig, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marienau's Graciano Tabori. 1-1. Michael Bährchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Graciano Tabori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruce Korsus to make the kick off. If Arthur Bister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Michael Bährchen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bruce Korsus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graciano Tabori having to make a save. After 60 played minutes Marienau got a freekick which was hit by Luca Hasenstab. Bruce Korsus struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Graciano Tabori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auermühle. Michael Bährchen came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Graciano Tabori could save by the left post. Michael Bährchen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Auermühle's Bruce Korsus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Graciano Tabori. That made the score 1-2 after 66 minutes of play. Michael Bährchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graciano Tabori having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Bruce Korsus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Graciano Tabori. The goal made the score 1-3. After 77 minutes of play, Marienau's Arthur Bister made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eckard Tilk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Graciano Tabori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Korsus in the 83rd minute of play. Auermühle's Michael Bährchen got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruce Korsus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graciano Tabori having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Auermühle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Brock to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Marienau defense, Michael Bährchen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Graciano Tabori. The Marienau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Graciano Tabori should have stopped the shot. Auermühle's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
