The supporters of Schlesische Adler booed when Marienau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Glenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jannik Matthies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ralf Rede took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Graciano Tabori. The referee showed Ortwin Buhrmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Schlesische Adler got a freekick which was hit by Ortwin Buhrmann. Schlesische Adler walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
