The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Höne booed when o3S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Burgwart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niko Zampos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermann Poß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Hermann Poß made a precise shot to the right of Niko Zampos. o3S's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the o3S defense, Ralph Duin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niko Zampos. The o3S fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niko Zampos should have stopped the shot. Niko Zampos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralph Duin went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Remo Burgwart's late challenge caught a Höne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Burgwart helped the player get up and apologised. Remo Burgwart kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hermann Poß's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niko Zampos was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Niko Zampos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Duin in the 29th minute of the match. o3S's Niko Zampos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Poß in the 30th minute of play. Niko Zampos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Duin in the 31st minute of play. Niko Zampos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Poß in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 41st minute Hermann Poß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Zampos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, o3S's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Duin came free, but Niko Zampos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Dietmar Schetelig made the kick off in the second half. Graciano Blenkle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Matthäus Wiesenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Eberhard Kaindl sped through Höne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matthäus Wiesenberg. After a defensive mix-up in Höne's zone, Dietmar Schetelig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthäus Wiesenberg came out of the goal and Dietmar Schetelig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Remo Burgwart managed to get in a good position for a shot. o3S's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Burgwart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthäus Wiesenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthäus Wiesenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Burgwart, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dietmar Schetelig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Matthäus Wiesenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Höne got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Schaf. After a defensive mix-up in Höne's zone, Nicolai Janz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthäus Wiesenberg came out of the goal and Nicolai Janz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Höne's goal looked a bit too open when Dietmar Schetelig came free, but Matthäus Wiesenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niko Zampos made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ralph Duin sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Nicolai Janz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthäus Wiesenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Graciano Blenkle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthäus Wiesenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Höne's goal looked a bit too open when Dietmar Schetelig came free, but Matthäus Wiesenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolai Janz in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthäus Wiesenberg saved Höne from getting behind. In the 94th minute of the match Lars Meiniger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niko Zampos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Höne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
