Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Marienau's Arthur Bister started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gerrit Herbel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Johannes-Paul Schneider notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marienau's Graciano Tabori. Graciano Tabori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Graciano Tabori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes-Paul Schneider in the 15th minute of the match. Graciano Tabori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes-Paul Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sven Spitzer fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marienau's protests and gave Sven Spitzer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marienau getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sven Spitzer hit a great ball. Johannes-Paul Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes-Paul Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Graciano Tabori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jürgen Kneissli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes-Paul Schneider struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Graciano Tabori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LZS-Radstein. Jürgen Kneissli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graciano Tabori having to interfere. If Gerrit Herbel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes-Paul Schneider in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Graciano Tabori saved Marienau from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arthur Bister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind LZS-Radstein's goalkeeper Chris Geisberger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Arthur Bister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marienau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Bister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to LZS-Radstein getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Paul Nissen hit a great ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Gerrit Herbel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LZS-Radstein's Chris Geisberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, one of LZS-Radstein:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LZS-Radstein. Chris Geisberger came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Marienau's Samon Hobner. But to his dismay, Samon Hobner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gerrit Herbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Chris Geisberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Jürgen Kneissli made a precise shot to the right of Graciano Tabori. Marienau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. LZS-Radstein's Chris Geisberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Bister in the 82nd minute of play. Jürgen Kneissli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Graciano Tabori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Graciano Tabori came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by LZS-Radstein's Jürgen Kneissli. But to his dismay, Jürgen Kneissli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 95 minutes into the match, Gerrit Herbel notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of LZS-Radstein's Chris Geisberger. Chris Geisberger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The LZS-Radstein supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LZS-Radstein would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
