After a defensive mix-up in o3S's zone, Eugen Häfner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niko Zampos came out of the goal and Eugen Häfner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dietmar Schetelig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Osthoff came out and tried to block the shot, but Dietmar Schetelig slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Dietmar Schetelig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. David Osthoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, o3S's Remo Burgwart got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Graciano Blenkle fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Nicolai Janz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but David Osthoff made a huge save. Dietmar Schetelig was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nicolai Janz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dietmar Schetelig to make the kick off. David Osthoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolai Janz in the 51st minute of the match. SG Obercrinitz's David Osthoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dietmar Schetelig in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Dietmar Schetelig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Osthoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietmar Schetelig in the 58th minute of play forced SG Obercrinitz's goalkeeper David Osthoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of o3S booed when SG Obercrinitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palle Matheis didn't get a good kick on the ball. SG Obercrinitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave o3S the free kick. In the 67th minute of the match, Eugen Häfner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niko Zampos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. o3S's Niko Zampos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save o3S from getting a goal against them. Dietmar Schetelig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. David Osthoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicolai Janz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niko Zampos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Ertan Mam Rostami Boukani, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. David Osthoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolai Janz in the 78th minute of play. Nicolai Janz scored 2-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Osthoff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 played minutes o3S got a freekick which was hit by Jens Silen.
