But to his dismay, Otfried Heine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Otfried Heine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximilian Skrotzki hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Otfried Heine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Otfried Heine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merten Meierhofer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. SG Dy Dresden's Merten Meierhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Optendrenk in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, SG Dy Dresden's Merten Meierhofer got control of the ball when Otfried Heine tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolf Noltenius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Merten Meierhofer. SG Dy Dresden's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Noel Optendrenk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elias Bosold struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Finn Käppeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Dy Dresden. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Optendrenk made a kick off. ErikSiege's Finn Käppeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joscha Melber in the 54th minute of play. Joscha Melber struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Finn Käppeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Dy Dresden. Finn Käppeler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Reinders in the 64th minute. Merten Meierhofer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otfried Heine in the 67th minute of play. After 75 played minutes, SG Dy Dresden's Wolfhard Hillenbrand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Finn Käppeler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SG Dy Dresden reached it. Morten Ronge hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Elias Bosold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finn Käppeler having to interfere. When ErikSiege's Otfried Heine in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SG Dy Dresden's goalie prevented a goal. Merten Meierhofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otfried Heine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, SG Dy Dresden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Skrotzki to maneuver through the defense. Joscha Melber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Otfried Heine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merten Meierhofer was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The supporters of ErikSiege booed when SG Dy Dresden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Bosold didn't get a good kick on the ball.
