Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Hock started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Koln 90 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermann Kremmeter to maneuver through the defense. Ron Kolbe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Webermann. Koln 90's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Koln 90 booed when SG Dy Dresden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Reinders didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Michael Hock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koln 90's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Hock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merten Meierhofer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, SG Dy Dresden's Merten Meierhofer got control of the ball when Christian Remer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Koln 90 booed when SG Dy Dresden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Reinders didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Christian Remer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joscha Melber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Koln 90 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Endrik Gabler hit a great ball. Sebastian Webermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Bosold in the 36th minute of play. Joscha Melber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Webermann having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Merten Meierhofer, was totally fooled by Koln 90's Detleff Mikulasch, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joscha Melber to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Remer in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merten Meierhofer saved SG Dy Dresden from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Bosold in the 64th minute of play forced Koln 90's goalkeeper Sebastian Webermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SG Dy Dresden's Merten Meierhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Hock in the 66th minute of play. Joscha Melber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SG Dy Dresden booed when Koln 90 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Wissmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joscha Melber in the 83rd minute of play forced Koln 90's goalkeeper Sebastian Webermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Bosold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sebastian Webermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endrik Gabler kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Joscha Melber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Bosold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Webermann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
